Drag the data fields from your data connection onto your form canvas, and preview. Perform whatever action you need to in the form to execute the query. Do you then see data in the secondary data connection in your form?

What is the conditional formatting you are using? Change the first drop down to "the expression" and paste the resulting XPath here....

My understanding is that if you use InfoPath to edit the list form in ShP 2010, that same IP form is used for new / edit / display, instead of the 3 SharePoint forms. You could probably use some conditional formatting if you want different behavior between new and edit - based on whether required fields are filled out when the form is opened....

Have you considered using an InfoPath data connection to your URL? You set it up as an XML file connection, leave out the filter fields, and then you can just add the filters in your code and execute the data connection. Using an IP data connection generally makes security easier. Here's a code sample.
qRules also does this, by the way.

Oh, repeating data in IP is a bear with SharePoint.
You can promote the fields as "merged" - that gives you a list of items from your repeating field. You can't edit that data in the library, though, so hopefully none of the data you want to edit is in your repeating group.
If you are reading data - putting it back together may be ...

Everyone has been new at this at one time or another.
Here's what I did.
In your form, the main data source "Supplyer" field is using a drop down on the form for the control. You've set that drop down to use the ID from the Suppliers data source for its value.
So, for the Account No. field in your main data source, I set a ...

Under the data tab in the ribbon you'll find a button for default values. You can deselect your repeating group to not include by default. (Tools / Default values in IP 2007, I believe).

Hi - You can use rules on your submit to submit to multiple data sources. Just add another data connection to your form that submits to your library.
But, that tutorial you followed has you enter your list data into a secondary data source (the CAML data source), right? Anything you want to submit to your form library needs to be in your main ...

Well, I did what I could without being able to actually preview or test in your environment. You've got a drop down on that account number (so of course the user can select another one). I've got no way of knowing what your secondary data actually looks like - Your drop down for "Supplyer" uses the ID for the value - perhaps the ...

You have to save the file locally then right click the saved XSN and select Design to open in IP Designer.
