Hi darronpustam and welcome to the forums!
What you are looking for is something called ''cascading dropdowns''. You should be able to find what you are looking for by searching our forums with those keywords, or taking a look at our library of Tutorials:http://infopathdev.com/howto/tutorials/default.aspx

Hi Vic and welcome to the forums!
Although I haven't done this before, I think it should be doable. Add the audio file as a Resource File from the Tools menu, then you'll have to make a custom XSL edit.
Extract the form files, and then find the XSL for the view you want to play the music on. Make an edit near the top of the file to put an ...

G'day,
I am wondering if anyone could point me in the right direction with the following please.
I have created a Custom List in Sharepoint 2007 and merely wish to add/edit an entry in that custom list via an Infopath 2007 form. It sounds such a simple concept yet I have been unable to find any information on the net and the technology is still ...

I have 2 drop-down boxes bound to secondary data sources (web services if it matters). The first simply contains a list of states, and the web service call doesn't require any parameters. The second contains cities within the selected state, so that call requires 1 input parameter (the ID of the selected state). This is a classic cascading drop ...

I am looking for possible non-code (I have minimal programming skills) solutions for how to filter the contents of a drop down list based on what is selected from the preceding drop down list.
Here is my scenario:

I have an InfoPath form a that contains a Rich Text (XHTML) Data Type that I publish to SharePoint as plain text (the only option I get when publishing). This Field's data is captured in InfoPath using a Rich Text Box that has Paragraph Breaks and Wrap Text checked. Now when I submit a form to SharePoint 2003, the field has no line breaks and puts ...

I would really like your help! If it makes it easier, i am storing the path to the file in the infopath form and the file itself is left in the original directory.
Let me know when you might be free to help. Or if you have a sample i can work from i can give it a go.
Thanks,
Erin

We have code samples, but it depends on your solution (i.e. the schema). This will likely take an hour of help working closely with you. We have done it before, but there's no generic one size fits all solution since your solution may be different. Let me know if you need some help. We are booked this week, but could help you next week.

Hi Patrick,
Thanks for the reply!! Unfortunately we have to use the local file system for what we are doing. Do you know of any code examples on how to open the file from within infopath 2007?
Thanks,
Erin

Hi Erin,
I recommend having people upload the .doc, .xls, and .pdf files to a domain web site and using links in the forms to access them. That will make the forsm open faster too. If you have to use the local file system, you could add some code to save the attachment and open it. Probably 10-20 lines max.
