  • Moving Nodes Up / Down Shortcut Keys!

I know several of us have experienced the pains of trying to move several fields up and down in the data source and getting to that ''Move Up'' and ''Move Down'' dialog in the right-click menu is especially painful. Now, introducing keyboard shortcuts! http://blogs.msdn.com/infopath/archive/2006/05/04/590005.aspx

  • Re: Changing Field Type

This is an interesting question, and I'm curious to know exactly how this would be done, too. I'll ask some of our Microsoft MVPs if they know of the perfect solution.

  • Re: Problems installing updated SDK

That's weird. Are you double-clicking the MSI? You could always add the '[1]' to the filename and see if that works.

  • Re: Can I add Metadata to a form library element?

The only metadata I know of that is available for SharePoint lists is promoted columns from within the form. If you do what you are saying and put a drop-down box within the form and then promote that field to the SharePoint list you should be able to know the status of each form. However, this means that each person that fills the form out must ...

  • Re: Form in SharePoint

Hello sagiw, First check out these tutorials by Greg Collins:http://infopathdev.com/howto/tutorials/default.aspx?s=Pictures After this I think what you are trying to do can be accomplished. You will need to make an ASPX page that returns the appropriate picture determined by one of the GET parameters passed in, then you can store those ...

  • Re: Repeating Tables

This should be pretty easy to do in code. The hard part will be determining whether or not two tables are the same. If they are exactly the same, you might be able to compare objects, but I have not tried this. Otherwise I think you will have to walk the DOM and determine whether or not two nodes are precisely the same by a series of string ...

  • Re: Collect Name on Repeating Section Creation

I haven't heard of a way that you can take input in a dialog box, but there are several that provide ''Yes'', ''No'', ''Cancel'' functionality. I think you will want to provide a place within the form that allows you to name the new section. Why can't you just make the ''field within the repeating section'' editable? If you want to make sure ...
