Hello Monica,
For the checkbox controls in your form you should be able to specify which value is used for TRUE and which value is used for FALSE. The default is the xml-compliant ''true'' and ''false'', but you can change these to whatever you want from the checkbox control properties dialog (just double-click the control in the ...

Hi Christiane,
If you continue to type the first letter of the choice you are looking for it will continue the search. However, this might not be optimum. You could implement cascading drop-downs that would allow further filtering to be performed. If the choices are alphabetical, you could have one drop-down for each letter of the alphabet ...

Hi Dan,
Sorry for the late reply. This seems incredibly weird, but I think I might have run into something like this before. My suggestion would be to use replaceChild(), but you said it gave you the same error. Since the objects are failing you, you should edit the XML string directly. Instead of calling insertChild() or replaceChild() on ...

Hi Dean,
I'm sure this is a limitation in Visual Studio as it cannot read the WSS folder structure like Windows can. It's probably just an oversight by Microsoft. Hopefully it will be fixed in future versions, but like you said the workaround is to save locally.

Hi ekzarov,
I'm not exactly sure what you are trying to do here, but you should be able to find the library content type GUID in the address bar while surfing the MOSS site. There is a thread on adding SharePoint List Items from InfoPath that goes to great lengths to describe this.

Hi dgibson,
This shouldn't be too hard to do in code behind the InfoPath form. You will need to inspect the XML that is returned from the web service, wrap it into an object, and then fill your secondary data source with it. I have some code samples to look at if you need any more help.

Hi cuzdatha and welcome to the forums!
This is an interesting scenario. I have always wondered how Java and InfoPath could interact together. I have done a lot of Java programming in my academic studies, but it does not seem to popular in the business world.
The problem you are seeing with the attributes is because per the XML ...

Hi,
I think you will need to provide a little more information on your schema, both on the InfoPath and Database ends. If you are having trouble with how your database trigger is behaving I would reccommend hooking up the SQL Server Profiler so that you can watch what exactly is happening and when. This will also allow you to see any error ...

My recomendation would be to go back to basics with this. Here is what I would do to troubleshoot this.
I am assuming the your email field displays once it is selected, to verify it is correct.
I would add another view to your form for this testing just to make the clean up easier later. Then I would add a button temporarily to switch to ...

Hi ekzarov,
I really don't get what you're saying here. There should definitely be a way to get at this using code. It might be a little bit of a hack, but it should be doable. Please elaborate so that I can give more specific instructions.
