We sell a tool that does this. If you want to build your own - you should be able to load the Excel data as a datatable or dataset, I'd imagine, then loop through it to create your XML files. HTTP Put could be used to upload the files to SharePoint, and you'll want to be sure to include the InfoPath processing instructions in ...

Interesting - I'll check with out test team and see what scenarios they tested the command with.

Are you getting this error from preview? Or after publish? If published to the same site as the location you are deleting from, the form can be domain trust. But if not, it would need to be full trust.

Not without code or a web service, I'm afraid. We have a nice web service that does this - more info here. Here is a blog with a code sample, if you'd like to write custom code to do this. Oh, I almost forgot - there is a way to do this with qRules now as well - more info on that product here.

It is hidden. :-)
Under Tools > Default Values for IP 2007, and under the data tab on the ribbon, Default Values for IP 2010.
From there you can click the "+" buttons to expand the schema nodes, find your repeating group, and deselect the checkbox next to it. You can also add instances here - if you ever need a form that ...

Thanks for updating!
We should have 4.1 out on the 15th of this month - that's the plan at least. I'm not sure on pricing - here's a link to our contact form, I'd use that and someone who knows the answer should get back to you in a timely manner.

We aren't really a flame war kind of a site.
I can understand why you consider this a limitation - many of us would consider it to be a benefit. By separating the data from the template, my template can grow and evolve, and as long as I don't delete or move schema nodes, my old XML will open without data loss. Yes, as a form designer, ...
The error I am receiving is: "The submit connection is called SPSubmit, and the XML file is called mapping locally.
I've never seen this error - to my knowledge, this is not an error qRules would return. Is this correct?
Your command as pasted here has no ...

Another option would be to use an XML file - then you could filter the drop down based on your other field values - I don't know if you are desiging a browser form, but if so, filters aren't available in IPFS 2007, so in that case you'd need to have separate drop downs as suggested by Ernesto.
