What is the validation expression?
If you open the condition and change the first drop down to "The expression" it will display in a field next to that so you can copy and paste it in....

Wanted to add one more thing - if you host your child forms in a form viewer web part (browser only) passing in a parameter can be done w/out code. Here's a cool blog post on that.

You can use input parameters with Filler forms. More here.
Looking back at your original question - why not just make everyone use the form in the browser?

The filler only view is available only in filler - I imagine if you want the form to automatically switch to that view, you would have to include the logic for that - although you may be able to set it as default and the browser will automatically use a different view for the default - not sure on that - you'd need to experiment a bit.

Have you tried that?

I wonder about using a Filler only view - in the view properties, you can check a box indicating a view is for Filler only. If you write code (or use qRules - it has a command for this called GetEnvironment) you could ascertain the environment the form was opened in and switch to the Filler only view....

And the dropdown is bound to a field inside the repeating table? Reading through the structure, and seeing that it works with one selection made first but not the others is extremely strange. I'd expect it either work, or not work.
If you want me to take a quick look at your rules, you can attach your template to the Options tab.

There was another post recently where a user was getting an unexpected security exception. He had to add his SharePoint site to his Local Intranet sites. Is yours in your local intranet?
