Try Conditional Formatting instead, make your condition such that whenever a row does not match the unique ID, hide that row. Conditional Formatting works a bit differently from filters but I believe it should be okay in your case.

Now I need to display those items from the SharePoint lists in my form but only the items that match the unique ID pertaining to that form. Right now all items submitted to the lists are displayed in the Form. I notice that when I bind the repeating table to the secondary data connection that the option to filter disappears. With out the filter ...

I am no Java expert but I think you might be using a wrong control...
"InfoPath.Application" is used for external script automation and does not represent an OLE server, that is why you would be getting error -2147221164 (aka 0x80040154 = REGDB_E_CLASSNOTREG).
I only know how to host an Infopath editing environment in C#: ...

Ah, so you want to fiddle with FileNet to try to get it to work as a replacement for SharePoint? I haven't worked with FileNet, but this is bound to be nigh impossible. The only thing I can think of is linking the two backend file storage systems (FileNet + DBXL or SharePoint) somehow.

You have a pretty complex scenario so it's be best if it was possible for you to share out the solution XSN. Just make sure that the issue still reproduces without the rest of the winform code.
To attach a file, simply clik on "files" on the top of the forum, go to "Uploads", "Community Uploads" and upload your ...

Filenet stores the reference to the image and the actual image is stored as a tif.
So it does not look like this would be an option.
In our case, FileNet woud staore the actual xsn file but the pointer for the template is still back to the SP forms library.

InfoPath 2007 supports passing parameters directly via the command line or the URL. There is a very good introduction on that on the InfoPath Team Blog:
http://blogs.msdn.com/infopath/archive/2007/02/26/passing-data-into-a-form-input-parameters.aspx
Unfortunately, there is no direct way in IP2003. Here are a couple of ...

I have seen this scenario before and it can get annoying. When using code, I use a global isLoading variable that is set to true in OnLoad, but I don't think this will help you since you are using rules. The only thing I can suggest is that you could add a condition on your rule so that it only fires when the value of the field ...

Hi Gangi,
This should be a relatively easy conditional formatting expression. For the child nodes, add a conditional formatting rule that hides them when their parent is not selected. If your DB is normalized properly, you should be able to do this recursively, but if it's not doing it with a static depth should be even more ...

I am presently working on a MOSS project with the integration of InfoPath 07 forms. We have established an approval/comment workflow with SP Designer 07 on the library, but are trying to “send” the form via the SPD email action when final approval is triggered. Is there a solution? Thank you
