I feel bad that you are kind of talking to yourself here - but I really don't know what the permissions would have to be - It sounds like you are saying you get data back but it fails in InfoPath. I see your site is https - are you using IE 8 or 9?

Hi there - welcome!
It sounds like you are saying you have the first two drop downs behaving the way you want them to, it is just this third one that is an issue for you. Is that accurate?
If this were my form, the first thing I'd do is drag the repeating data node from the data source that is going to be used for the training course ...

Sadly, what you wish to do is not possible without code - and full trust code at that. Your best option would probably be to have a required text field and making the user copy in the path to the file, which, without code to validate the user's entry, is just a data entry error waiting to happen.

Hi - You'll first want to make sure in your rules you are setting your currentTime field to now() when the user submits - so that it has the time when the button is clicked.
To get just the time, you need to use substring-after - it would be something like substring-after(currentTime, "T") - IP date time is ISO, has a T between the ...

If you attach your form under the Options tab, I can take a look - usually if rules with conditions aren't firing it is a problem with the conditions - you could try removing those and see if the rules fire when you expect and then work from there...

Hi - what field are you adding the rule to? Rules fire when the field they are on changes.... It looks like you would want this rule on the RenewalPeriod field and on the CompletionDate field. If that's where the rules are now, and they aren't firing, it could be because the value of the RenewalPeriod field is not meeting your conditions ...

Your post was posted - I answered directly above.
When you set the Command field's value, the changed event executes the command and then clears the field. Your rule can be on any node other than the Command node itself. So if you have a field in your form named "field1", you can have a rule on it that sets the Command field, and ...

You bet - InfoPath formatting gets funny sometimes. If you nudge a section or row the wrong way, it decides "Oh! You want this to be a specific size! Not Auto!" and tries to help you out. I spend way too much of my time trying to convince it otherwise.

If you don't need to use concat, you don't need to use the Function Builder. Just paste your command in the Value box in the rule.
Use Function Builder if you need a form value or an InfoPath function to create the string you wish to set the Command node to. In a case like this, where all the values are hard coded, just paste the command ...
