Oh, I see - I think you are asking if it is possible to change the contents of a resource file in a form template programatically?
You can access the file, but I don't think you'll be able to save the changes - you'd have to save the template as source files, and update the file, then repack it up.
It sounds like your current ...

So the text file doesn't change? Once you add it as a resource to the form, you'd need to update the file in the template if it had any changes....
Any reason you'd not use an XML file and create a data connection to it? Then you may not have to use code at all...

I have a blog post here that talks about this a little bit - at least for sections. Generally speaking, if you right click the highlighted section, the Insert menu will tell you what group is bubbling up. I'm not sure if there is any way around it for repeating tables - in those, you need to be able to select a row for inserting or deleting...

I learned InfoPath using this forum. It is nice to be able to help others who are learning.

You can drag something directly from the data source onto the form. It will create text box controls. I am asking you to do this for the initial two fields you have drop downs connected to because I have no way of knowing what your field's actual value is, and since you are new, I'm kind of guessing you may also not know this. When you ...

Hi - the reason the button requires full trust is because it is accessing the local file system. Basically, it extracts the form template files so that it can use the schema file.
There isn't going to be a work around with the current version of the template, I'm afraid - we should probably keep this in mind as a future improvement.
You ...
