There is an id - but the issue is getting it before your file is submitted, since you say you want to use it for your file name. It is generated when the file is added to the library. You can query the library and get back all the current IDs and increment the max by one and hope that no one submits a different form before the form you are ...

Just XPath would do this, right? Like, for an XPathNodeIterator, you could use a filtered XPath to get back the correct instances - or am I oversimplifying what you are trying to do?

Hi -
The user guide will help you with this. You need to install the form first.
From the Start menu, under Qdabra / Tools / qRules there is a shortcut to an install script for the forms.
It is called "Install Forms". If you get an access denied error, please check page 3 of the user guide for details on how to run from the command ...

This is a concat formula. You don't just put it in the "value" field of the action. You need to click the fx button. Then you can add the formula. You will have to use the field picker to select the qRules Link attribute.
You may want to walk through the exercise in the getting started guide that installed with qRules, or take a ...

You could use today() + translate to remove the "-" chars.
concat(SERVICE, LASTNAME, LAST4SSN, translate(today(), "-", ""))

Default values, on the other hand, update on their own, using whatever the ...

Mark - sorry, didn't see your post at the end of the thread - to my knowlege, you can't edit a SharePoint List form for ShP 2007 in InfoPath. Has to be ShP 2010.
Karen - this has to do with the limits of promoted properties on repeating data. By default, IP will promote the first entry. You can change that to "merge" - see ...
