You came to the right place. I have a few Master/Detail example forms you can download and play with to get an idea what to do.
Specifically the first two should be of interest to you:
Select a Master Table Row via Code, v1.0http://www.infopathdev.com/howto/examples/default.aspx?i=c56d9528ec4f4317a5bd469ac4e90b9d

Glad to have helped. Thanks for the translation!

Not within the designer... you have to do it one-by-one.
However, you might find it easier to extract the form files and do it directly in the view.xsl file (always make a backup before making manual edits).
But perhaps a better way is to use xdExtension as described in my article:
Use Code to Determine a Rule ...

You can use conditional formatting to accomplish the same thing, though they are not as efficient as filters.
However, if you are familiar with XPath, you should be able to easily add a filter to your repeating table. Find the xsl:for-each row, and add your filter to the XPath...
<xsl:for-each ...

Have you tried looking at the Command property on the DataObject?

You'll need to translate this JScript to the IP07 OM:
XDocument.DOM.selectSingleNode(''*'').nodeName

Let me hopefully answer at least one of your questions...
XML Schema allows you to have the same element name ''Book'' with different sub elements. InfoPath also supports this when starting your form from an external schema. However, when designing your schema within InfoPath, references are used, and so once you have used the name ''Book'', all ...
-
As I have only used the EN-US version of InfoPath, forgive my ignorance if other language versions use different syntax... but for the contains() method, should you be using a comma '','' instead of a semicolon '';'' ?
That's all I can think of at this point.

Hi. Hopefully we're coming to a final solution for you...
First thing is you cannot place a function (openFormB) inside another function (CTRL242_6::OnClick)... that will have to be moved outside the other function...
Also, I'm not sure that in your case you need to use NewFromSolution**WITHDATA***... you probably only need ...

Good catch. Thanks.
JLProgrammer, be careful to not mix syntax from multiple programming languages. Looks like you had a combination of JScript, VBScript, and C# in there!
Make sure to scan the rest of your code for any more such mixings.
Good luck!
