Is there any chance you manually walked through the QdabraRules data connection in the InfoPath UI? That can change the schema. If you inject a new, blank form, does the schema appear as you expect? Can you inject a new, blank form and, if the schema is not as you'd expect, attach the template here under the options tab?

Oh, what fun.
I'd troubleshoot by adding a repeating table in a different view in the form - same issue? If so, I'd publish another form with a repeating table - try to see if the issue is with IPFS, this particular form, or this particular view in this form - does that make sense?

You have two drop downs. One is bound to the location_campus field. What field is the room number drop down bound to?

I'd think it would be
../../GroupName
Because you are at Graph1Title, and you go up once to Graph1 and then once again to Group, then down to GroupName....
-
Group is not repeating - but you should be able to bind to Groups....

Oh, yuck.
There really isn't any replace function in IP - and this would most cleanly be done with Regex.Replace in code, I think (which, I realize this was not your intent, but you have just given me a VERY GOOD command to add to qRules 4.2!).
I think you'd have to write code for this. If you can live with it till June and are ...

Check the "Edit XPath" check box in the formula editor - what's the XPath used for GroupName? I bet an abosolute XPath is being used there. It should be using a relative path ... did you select the GroupName field with the field picker?

Hi - any chance you can attach a screen shot of your main data source? Under the Options tab, you can attach a file...
If your repeating section is bound to Group, and GroupName is a field in Group - well, by default you should be getting the correct instance of GroupName in each Group.... So, I'm sort of perplexed.

So, I guess I'm a little confused as to where these values are coming from - you say:
The equipment selected is saved to a field in the bookings calendar list in a delimited format
This is equipment selected in an InfoPath form? In a drop down or something? Is a single item selected at a time, and then you promote the repeating field as ...

I left out a rather vital step, sorry - the encoded result should be returned to the Result field - so you would then set the qRulesLink field to the value in the QdabraRules Result field.
