Yes, you can do this with a simple data filter on the repeating table.
Double-click the repeating table, Click Display Tab, and then click Filter Data. Click Add, choose 'The Expression' from the first drop -down. Delete whatever was in the textbox originall and insert this expression:
position() > last() - 10
That should do the trick!

You can export to Excel, but you will have to create an transform file and apply it to the XML that is saved from the form.
Try this:
1. Open your Excel file, go to File -> Save As, choose ExcelML to save the Excel file as an XML file.
2. Open the XML file created in step 1 in Visual Studio and insert XSLT functions and change the file ...

Please post all of your XPath filters so I can help debug.
This can get kind of complicated sometimes so it's rather hard without knowing your schema. If you want to take a screenshot of the data source task pane, that would also be helpful.

If you change this:
<LibraryName>GetListItems</LibraryName>
In the link that Uma gave to whatever the name of your list is, you should be able to do this. Another, related, HowTo can be found here:http://infopathdev.com/howto/tutorials/default.aspx?i=7bc880f391b84ea9b3b45c6fbecc07c6

I'm glad the HowTo was helpful!
You can also get the namespace that InfoPath has generated by looking at the very top of your code. There will be some configuration information in [] there.

Once you delete the database connection there should be a red bang displayed on each of the fields that was tied to one of those database nodes. You will have to delete these controls manually.

This is actually a limitation when working with managed code.
Try this: make a button in the form that calls this code:
thisXDocument.UI.Alert( Environment.UserName );
and you will be able to see the error that InfoPath emits. We have talked about this and have not found a workaround.

Yes, you should be able to do this by using the method Greg described. I hope you are using managed code, because that will make things easier.
string myxml = thisXDocument.DOM.xml;
string myxml_base64 = base64Encode( myxml );
The base64Encode method can be found here:http://www.vbforums.com/showthread.php?s=&threadid=287324

I would have to know a little bit more about your schema to give you exact advice, but I think you might want to add a ../ in there:
@Project_TaskID[../@Common_Title = current()/ProjectCommonTitleCI]
If this doesn't work, try this:
@Project_TaskID[../@Common_Title = current()]

You could try displaying the number as a 'single line of text' instead of a number.
