Well, to get the balance field, for example, in a previous row, the XPath would look something like this:
../preceding-sibling::my:group2[my:Account = current()/../my:Account]/my:Balance
With group2 replaced with your repeating group, and the other fields also set to the correct names for your data source.
I'm thinking you may want to do ...

If your field is repeating, you can use code (or qRules) to create a new instance of the node. There is nothing in the InfoPath UI to insert a new instance of a repeating group / node, I'm afraid.

What versions (InfoPath, Visual Studio) are you using? I want to say I've only been able to create an .msi file with Visual Studio 2005... I know I had the same issue on one of my machines at one point, but I am afraid my recollection of the root cause and eventual solution may be a bit fuzzy.

Check your SharePoint log files - there may be more information there that can help you resolve this.

So, you are saying that you can't create a data connection in InfoPath to your web service? Or that you can't base a form off the web service you wrote?

I'm sorry, but I'm having a hard time understanding your description. If you can attach a sample form (under the Options tab) it may help.
In general, if you are looking to reference a sibling node you can use preceding-sibling or following-sibling - and I think that you are trying to reference a sibling by your description? Since you ...

Hi - switching views on submit will not make the form open with the last view used - so you may as well remove that rule action since it is causing other issues for you.
I'd add a form load rule instead that switches to the view I want to use.
You could add a field to your main data source for tracking the status for the form, for example - ...

You are probably querying on load - walk through your data connection wizard again (data connections, select the list, modify) and when you get to the last screen, deselect the checkbox indicating the query should run on form load.
Since you are using IP 2010 (and I'm assuming ShP 2010?) you could just use the query fields - on your drop ...

Hi - what version of InfoPath / SharePoint? 2007 or 2010?
Generally, the way we'd do this in InfoPath is with a secondary data source and a repeating table.
You'd create a secondary data connection to your list - you may have already done this.
Then, you'd drag the repeating data row from the secondary data connection onto your form ...

I'm a little confused - a few of your posts were in threads about promoted property issues. So what is the issue? The form won't relink? Or you have XML where the fields you wish to promote don't exist? What do you anticipate to happen when you click "relink"? All it does is update the href in the XML to point to the template ...
