Hi,
As the subject states, is it possible for a user to complete the InfoPath form and then when they submit it the content of the form is in the body of the email? I have read multiple posts on different forums that it is and all you have to do is set the submit to send only the active view of the form - when ...

Sorry I thought I had it - the validation seems to be setup ok rather than the "cannot be blank" BUT if I try to submit the form I still get a warning that the other fields within a different section are required - this time due to the validation not the cannot be blank setting. Any thoughts?

Thank ...

We have other staff who work at remote sites using PC's that are not logged on to the same domain as the main site ...

Hi Hilary - thank you for the response!
A colleague showed me a trick to find out what the validation error was. He had me load the form and then attempt to 'Save As'. When the dialogue box came up, he clicked 'No' and then presented another dialogue box where he could click on the 'Show Details' and that actually ...

Instead of making the field required, you need to untick the box that says cannot be blank in the field properties. You then need to create a rule with a couple of conditions.
First Select the Field in the Fields section on the right hand side.
Select Control Tools Properties Tab on the ribbon at the top.
Select Manage Rules.
In the ...
