No - either the command is being used or not - if it isn't being used, I'm not sure how deletions could be occurring. Feel free to attach your form to a reply if you'd like me to take a quick look (under the options tab).

And you have removed it? You may want to use the Rule Inspector and double check that.... That's the only thing I can think of that would be causing items to be deleted from your SharePoint list, as the SubmitToSharePointList command won't delete from the list.
-
So - did the URL change? Does the old URL still work in IE, just not in InfoPath?
If so, you may just need to add noredirect=true - more on that here.
-
You aren't also using the RefreshSharePointListItems command are you?
-
I think you are correct - just deactivate and retract.

I'm a little concerned about this - so you know, even if the user can't see the data in the form when they open it, all they have to do is open the XML with a text editor to see it. Is that an acceptable risk in your environment?
-
That is very odd. I'd try recreating the view, myself - or even create a new view and copy / paste from the bad view.... Have you tried deleting the button in question and re-adding it?
-
I had to find a ShP 2007 site in our environment, and set up a library - but this is not happening in my environment. I changed my view to just show Name (linked to document) and it opens in the browser without issue.
So, first I'd try a new simple browser form and library - does that work as anticipated? If so, try your current form in a new ...
-
I'm afraid that if the user has permissions to write to a library, they have access to see the other items in it. In lists, we can set security to only allow users to see their own items - this doesn't exist for libraries.
Is workflow an option? Perhaps when XML are added, you could use a workflow to move them out to a secure location?

I don't think this is possible - this would require code and we can't have code in a list form - that said, you could look at the XSL and see if you can do something there - not sure if a list form will like XSL edits outside of the designer, but it may be worth a try.
