Is your form set to be a Filler not a Browser form? From the MSDN doc:
This type or member can be accessed only from code running in forms opened in Microsoft InfoPath Filler.

Try walking through the blog post - I think you'll find it isn't too different between IP 2007 & IP 2010. Just let me know if you run into any trouble. :-)

Hi -
You'll need to instead get the row from the secondary data source that has the same id....
Your dropdown probably has the SharePoint ID for the value, and the machine name for the display. You'll want to set the other field to the machine name field from that secondary data connection where the ID in the secondary data connection ...

I'm not finding a re-write of that for IP 2010, but I read through it and it should be the same for 2010 (except for how you access the rules) - what in particular is giving you an issue?

You can add a Word print view in 2010 - has to be a filler form, I believe. From the Page Design tab, click the arrow widget next to "New View" - the drop down includes Word Print View.
I should add - there is support for printing multiple views in IP 2010, but I've not used it, and I'm sure you probably already ...

Hi, thanks for the follow up post.
I've emailed the support team to see if there are specific 2010 instructions. I'd imagine that except for how you get to the rules in the UI, they'd be pretty much the same...

Well, if it were a full InfoPath form, you could add code that would:
Decode the file attachments and get the name of each
Copy the file attachment nodes
Sort the file attachment nodes
Delete the original nodes
Append the copied nodes
However, if you do this as the user is attaching the nodes, I'd think the user experience ...

Well, at least when we went from ShP 2007 to ShP 2010, all of our owssvr.dll data connections in InfoPath started to fail due to not having noredirect - we should leave the post up, in case someone else has the issue. :-)

Oh, interesting! Your form doesn't have the refresh command - I saved as source files and searched, in case the rule inspector was lying to us. I'm going to check this out, see if you've found a bug here. Glad your form is working now, and thanks for letting us know!
