The easiest way to do this would be to search through the errors collection and see if that node is listed. Of course this only works if the field is not yet filled out.
Similarly you can determine that way if there is an existing error in a node. If you want to verify validation upon entry the onValidate event should do the trick.

Hello and welcome to our forum! Your question is also one we struggle with as it is a very common scenario. What you want to do unfortunately requires code. InfoPath doesn't have any built-in functions for getting the week start date. Sorry for that bad news.

I'm trying to create a secondary data connection to my hosted sharepoint site. When I enter the site info into the wizard, It says "No data connections found..." Is this is an issue with permissions and the sharepoint server? If so what is it that I need to request from the hosting service?
