Are you using the filter or conditional formating?
You can sometimes combine these but yes the logic can get hairy to implement complex filters.
I often use conditional formating and use text coloration for testing my logic then I can see all the data and also what my logic is affecting. Then switch it to hide later after I know it is working ...

I've created a form for our group that will create a service request. I'd like the form to auto generate a unique ID (Service Request #). I've seen some posts but I don't exactly understand how they are doing this. I am not a developer, and would like to be able to show that simple requests like this can be ...

I am fairly new and InfoPath so if this is easy I apologize.
I have a list in Sharepoint. One of the columns is a multiple line object. I would like to take those multiple lines and make them each a multiple line in a list or drop down box in InfoPath. When I connect and receive the data right now, it just puts all of the ...

In my web based infopath form I have several promoted fields. Form is initially generated using a c# code from within sharepoint custom workflow.
I have two field that are both promoted in the template with same type (string) and different names.
I am trying to set double values to both of these values. The values are set correctly in the ...
