The Database Accelerator includes a lot of great tools but not the conversion tool.
WIth the Database Accelerator you could setup a SQL database for storing your data and interacting with it via an InfoPath form but this would be an architectural change.
The conversion tool I am refering to is a customized tool since it has to be setup ...

Thanks, I just check and the list went over 65 over last week.
Is it the Qdabra Database Accelerator Suite Version 2.1 tool you were talking about. Could i use the free version to accomplish my task?
Any other Ideas?
Thanks,

When posting in this forum, you might have noticed that if one pastes directly from Word the text will appear jumbled (line breaks will be lost).
This is sample text, written and formatted in Word and (linebreak) pasted directly into the Message field.
Below is the same sample text, pasted using the "Paste from Word" button ...

A tool would automatically submit the forms.
For 40 forms one time, it may be more economical to just have someone open a new form for each and complete them manually.
I think you said you already have the form template completed and published to SharePoint.

Hi Clay, Thanks a Lot for the reply.
Yes, It is a one time action. All i have is a spreadsheet with some 40 odd rows; which i want to directly convert it to a Existing Infopath template. Is it possible?
Then ,i would just have to save/publish each of my forms to Sharepoint and i am done.
Please Help!
Thanks,

All you have to do is switch your submit to rules and then add your field update and then a second action which is the submit to data connection.

Thanks Clay!
I am not sure that this is going to work for me. I can't do the submitted option way because i am submitting my form to a document library so the rules button is disabled in that menu. We're on the right track, i just need another way? Any more ideas?

Hi Basheer.
So you want a second form to open at the same time as the first? Is this another copy of the same form or a different one?
One of the actions for rules is to open a form. You should be able to go into form options and open and save and rules and add one to open the second form.
Hope that helps.

A couple different options...
We have written applications which will process a spreadsheet and create a new form for each row. Is this something that will be done on a regular basis or is this just a one time action to transition from Excel to InfoPath? How many rows are you dealing with?
Putting your Data in SQL is probably the best, ...

Sure- you just need a condition to trigger it. You could use a field in your form but typically I would just create a new field, Submitted boolean with a default value of false. When the first user clicks on the button or in your submit options add a rule that sets Submitted to true.
Then put in the control's conditional ...
