• dropdown selects wrong item after reopening form

Hi, I created a browser compatible form, showing 10 dropdowns. The values in the dropdowns come from secondary datasources (webservices). Everything displays well upon opening the form, and when saving the form, the correct values are stored in the database. The form submits to a webservice storing all values in a database. However, when I ...

You can hide the Submit button from appearing in the toolbar using Tools->Submit Options. Uncheck the box at the bottom.

I just realized you may be referring to the submit button in the toolbar. I do not think you can effect it dynamically. The solution is to go into the submit properties and permanently remove the submit from the tool bar and just use a button in your form which you can control as described above.

If you go into button properties. To the display tab and then Conditional Formatting. You can add conditions and have the result be to either hide the button or disable it when the conditions are true.

Normally Design Checker (Tools | Design Checker) should tell you what those features are but unfortunately not all features are listed. For example, dynamic text for buttons is not supported in IP2003 designer. If you save your solution as ...

  • Hide submit button

What's the easy way to hide my submit button? I get it working with the sharepoint list ID and hide it when the formID is not blank; it's not a simple thing to do. Now, if you forget to put in the require field and click on the submit button, it'll disappear. Cause I set some rule in there. How to hide the submit button?

  • Re: Populate a Drop-Down list box through code

Did you resolve this yet? I think you could use a secondary data source, bind the drop-down to that, and then populate the secondary data source programatically with the data from the ADO.NET connection.
