You can't do it easily on that button, but here's another idea: why not add a new button to your form called "Send" that has rules defined on it. You should then be able to add code behind to the button.

Hi SusanP!
Just wondering, but can you set compatibility mode?
I would also suggest setting the width to a fixed number of pixels (not 100%).

Hi Gwen,
My first guess is that pattern matching validation only works on strings.
Can you add a separate string field for your input and set the decimal field when it changes (assuming it matches the value)?
My second guess is that it is getting hung up on the '\.' since the dot has special parsing meaning. But, your slash ...

*AND*
count(/my:myFields/my:group1/my:group2) > 4
Note: this assumes that you have a form with a stock data source root node ...

Hi Spassler and welcome,
SharePoint lists don't support repeating data in the form. Well, you can create a new form from InfoPath and specify repeating, but it only lets you add multiple items and you won't be able to edit multiple items. Maybe that is good enough. If so, launch InfoPath Designer and say new SharePoint list form and be ...
