Hi
First off I will point out some of the bad points of Full Trust:
it has to be installed locally, so each update has to be installed and updated by the individual;
the install each time has to be managed as a java app or a .MSI with 4 to 5 steps in each. If the form was on the intranet it would mean an install each time.
I ...

Hi
Error catching not my speciality but if I understand you correctly the forms are erroring out before they even boot or get caught in your logic. If this is the case it has to be something fairly funadmental like a data source error, permissions error, or design error.
If you are using Infopath 2007 i presume it the design checker ...

Hi Clay,
THanks for the help again. I don't have experience working with ADService or CAML, so I'll have to explore these options.

Hi
Not done this with a web service before but trying the same thing with a database and found the following to work.

Hehe - leave it to me to unwittingly create and release a rogue application on my
own computer! But what you describe is exactly what's happening. I'll go ahead and post the code here in case it's helpful. I didn't write it myself, it's converted over to .NET from a VB script my department manager found on the web. It's in ...

Hi HockeyJac and welcome,
Unfortunately, I never got a reply from Frank and he is now a program manager at Microsoft. My recollection was that he had to write code to get the window handle for InfoPath and then using Windows GDI functions disable the cross. It's not something that we have time to investigate now for the forum, and I'm ...

Did this ever get posted to the site?
Thanks.

Hi Thefooser1 and welcome!
Some questions first:
What other data connections do you have in the form? They may be causing problems if they require net connectivity.
Did you originally design the form when access was on a server? If so, the data connection may not be updated.
Was the form template published to a website or did you ...
