I am retreiving data from a SQL table in IP2003.
I keep getting an error on large data fields that say that there is a text string limit of 100 characters.
The database is set up to handle more and I am not submitting back to the database.
Is there a limit inherent in IP2003 and is there a work around?

The error i run into when i attempt to create 2 data sources in the form. One data source used to submit data into an evaluation table while the second data source set to recieve data from the SQL server to query and auto fill the various boxes in the form.

Typically then I would setup the main data source to your evaluation data.
Then create another secondary that returns your unique IDs.
Use this for a dropdown which when they select one it seads the query field for ID.
Then run your query to return data on that ID's record.
make changes and submit if there was a change.

Once you publish the form from infopath to sharepoint, you can then go to the form library on sharepoint and click new. That will open the document for them to be filled out. You will also have to make sure that all users are added to sharepoint as users. Also make sure that the forms submit using unique names, or if you want ...

You can only have one submit per form with the database type, and it has to be designated when the form template is created. So it has to be architected correctly from the start or you may need to start over.
Otherwise you must use webservices instead. Also if you want to submit to multiple, unrelated tables, you would need to use web ...

The boxes that you want to submit back to another table, you will need a submit connection to them. You can right click on the text boxes and change the binding to the fields you need on your datasource. I presume you have a button that would do the submit, you can just choose it to submit using that data connection. Also on the ...
