I was wondering if there is a way to make a data connection to a SharePoint List and have InfoPath display the whole column of data. I can have a drop list show all items in a column, but what about just listing it all...maybe in a repeating table?  Also I would like the data to be a hyperlink.  That data being pulled in is already in ...

cheers for the info. Managed to get it sort of working, it took me a while.  As my form will be browser based I can't use filters (no idea why because filters exists in web form normally) Thanks for all your help  

Hi mahnsu ! Would you explain more ??! if you insert a repeating section in your form , the number of repeating sections in your preview depends on the the repeating values that it contains . and each section has it's own combo box. but I didn't underestand well your problem ...

This should be simple in InfoPath once you get used to it. Verify that your sample XML here is available in your form's data source. The drop down should be bound to a field in your main repeating section, typically where name will be stored in your record. Typically you would want just one print view, and in your case very large. Use page breaks to keep the pages seperate. I believe the issue is with the switching of the views. I have seen this before where trying to change to multiple views. I am assuming that you can get one view to work. I actually ended up adding an id field to the form and a query button that queries the fields that were changing. The button only appears after certain fields (status, assigned to) have new values. I included a note on the form for the user to hit the query button, then change anything they need to after the query, and then hit the submit button. ...

hallo, creating a new formular from a xml datasourec works. then infopath ask me for another one - i pick it from a folder- but i don't foind it in my schema. why? what did I wrong? Are some rules I have to work with , when i select another xml schema?   Thanks for tipps Susanne
