Ok, thanks for those screenshots. That does look confusing. Are the BudgetCode textboxes bound to the same field in both views? If you switch back to the other view, are the BudgetCode textboxes still filled? Is there filtering on the repeating tables?

You need to press the fx button and use the formula editor.

Could you show us a few screenshots of your views and the conditional formatting rules? I'm having trouble grasping what you're describing. Where are you using that preceding-sibling formula?

Have you tried qRules? It can sort a repeating table with a single-line command. Sorting a list of XML nodes using JScript would probably be pretty complex.

Cool. And yes, if your rule uses a formula (e.g. the concat() function or anything), you must enter the formula in the formula builder, even if you build it somewhere else. If you paste it into the dialog you're showing in your screenshot, it will just be treated as a text value and won't work.

translate(startDate, '/', '-') should do the trick.

Is there any error in qRules' Error field? Can you attach a screenshot of your data source?
-
Look no further than the Excel to InfoPath tool. It was designed to do precisely what you're looking to do.

Here's your form with the copy behavior added. All of the relevant logic is on the button that I added and in the rules on the my:group4 node.
I can't say anything relating to ShareVis because this is the first I've heard of it and I don't know what its limitations are (or if they're relevant here). And yes, this ...
