It sounds like you have done everything right. I wqould check it again and make sure.
In the data connection you would select the asset table and use the add button to add the component table.
Make sure you have at least one record in each table. Infopath needs a sample value.

I have a form with an "asset" that can have multiple "components". Thus, I have a repeating section for components.
I want this to dump into a database. Similar to having an invoice with multiple items purchased.
When I did the form creation, I selected and Access database. One table is the main table ...

Thanks for the reply.
I will only have about 5-10 emails hard coded in the form so using Active Directory or Sharepoint is not needed. Plus the emails that I will be using are external emails not in our company directory. I just can't believe there isn't an easier way to do this. I'm fairly new to InfoPath so I ...

For the submit, check your rules and actions order and make sure you are not submitting before the field gets set. That would be my guess is that the form is submitted a bit early.

I know with code you could process through the list and build the "to" field.
I think you could build it with a rule, as a name is selected, the corresponding email could ...

That should give you a sample for calculating 90 days, just change for 1.

It should be able to be calculated in a field in your form using the site URL and form name with a concat function. Then you can pull that value into code and concat it into your email body.

OK thanks, just needed a fresh perspective. I've got the email working in code, so if I can figure out a way to get the URL of the current form that would work :-)

I have created an InfoPath form in 2003. It has a start date and end date to figure total days. The following link is where I got the rules.
http://enterprise-solutions.swits.net/infopath2007/calculate-date-difference-infopath-rules-formulas.htm
How and where do I modify the calculation to subtract 1 day for total quantity?
