• Re: I0033: Access denied

Ok, that sounds simple enough. I will try that when I get home. Sorry for all these basic questions, but I'm still getting my footing with all these unfamiliar software packages. Since I am in Japan and work 8-4, it would be very difficult to arrange an online meeting, but with any luck, I'll have the program up ...

  • Re: Unable to open form

Search the keyword for href in that file and change that url to your XSN file path or your manifest.xsf file where it is located. You need to specify where form file wants to open in href. • Re: Getting the file name with code

I think there is a way with code. However what I do ussually is just store the form name in the form itself. Or in your case might store and save both form names if they differ. So instead fo having some concat function as form name. I would put that into the default of a field in the form itself. For the dataconnection I would reference ...

  • Re: Secondary connection and query data

Typically you would have a repeating table of your secondary data and then use conditional formatting to hide all records where Supplier_id does not equal a form value. Then only the records which match will be visible (one since it is a PK) and it will be dynamic as the form selection changes the formatting will change.

What are you trying to accomplish? You just want to reset values or copy values from secondary to main?

  • Re: Can you extend the time out for how long a form is open.

Welcome to the forum. I have ran across this issue before with large web based forms. Have you considered saving their progress frequently. This would solve your timeout as well as multi-day issue. You can write to a database via web services and then each time they update or switch views or sections it can post this data back. When ...

  • Re: Guru Advice: Tracking "IsDirty" with InfoPath Forms Services

If you are writing this in javascript on the page that hosts forms server, you could inspect the data tree (say, in your onunload handler) and find out if the data is dirty or not in the following way: // Checks if user actions have changed data function CheckIfDirty() { var objViewDataNode; // Get the root of the data ...
