For a reset I usually just enter a new query parameter but one that does not relate to any data.  ID=99999999999 or something. Then the returned data fields will all be blank. All values reset to empty.

Yes this what I mean. You would want to format so that all records are hidden except where supplier_ID inyour table equals the supplier ID chosen. Which would probably be stored in a field value somewhere.

usually this is because the field which the new dropdown was bound to does not exist in the old forms. Check which field the drop down is bound to, where it stores its data.  Is this field in the previous forms or is it a new field? thanks, but the extensible table returns me all the records. :( i put the rule: "if supplier_id" (primary connection) is equal to "supplier_id" (from de secondary coinnection) then make the query to the secondary connection. i only want to see the details of that supplier_id. We actually do a lot of business in Japan so we can make the time work. Most of our forms and solutions are in Japanese as well as english. We have staff there and are going to be opening a permanent office there soon as well.
