Hi,
I own a Sharepoint site. But I do not have access to Central Admin of the server. In my site I have a Form Library under which I want to publish an Infopath form. Right now the form is a Smart client and it works just fine. I am in the process of converting the form into a browser based form. The documentation talks about getting into ...

I just tried it in a form, using rules.
One option is to change your field from a date to a string but if it is linked to a DB you do not have that option.

HI and welcome to the forum.
Data Connections are verified on form open, even if they are not being queried so i think it is difficult to remove this other than coding it completly which would add more complexity and hassle to the form.
Have you thought about putting the DB in a network folder, probably already is, but then set it up as a ...

Is it a repeating field? Sharepoint does not have the ability to display relational or repeating data and often we use a Database instead.
Checkboxes should have a value for both checked and unchecked but this often needs to be set in the controls if it is not a boolean (true / false) field. Once this value is set in your main data source you ...

I think you would want to set it to Null rather than a space or blank string.
