There is something wrong with the View Active System names data connection or it cannot access it.   What is the trust setting in Form options. What kind of Data Connection is it?

Hi Craig Welcome to the forum. If you need to be able to send large data types, rich text, more than the 256 character limit to SQL, I could show you how to do this. it sounds like that would solve a lot of headaches for you. Email me and I could show you.

The XSN is the template, not the data. If you complete a form and submit it to a form library or save it, that would be the XML.  They could then open this with a text editor, I guess, but this is not a practical scenario.
