Clay,
Thanks for the response….
I am undoubtedly making this harder than it should be, and probably not explaining it well. We are tracking projects. Each project can have none, one, or multiple milestones and/or activities (thus the relational tables).
The number of projects will remain fairly stable. The ...

You can automate some of the deployment and update of the data sources but either way you slice it is a modification.
You could create a tool to probably make these bulk type changes.
We use a tool which updates the URL's for our webservices dynamically.
Publish to server A and the webservices are updated to point at server A
Typically we ...

It also bears noting that Forms Services can do some of this, but to my knowledge, it can only export XPS, and only on browser-enabled forms.

Hey Bob.
I can show you some examples of how this can be done and what you need to do it.
I think I can show you how this can be done a lot simpler and easier using web services. It removes all of the complexity out of the form so you only require a very small amount of code in the form.

My first question was answered so promptly and helpfully, I thought I would throw my only other quandry out..
Does anyone have any experience with using InfoPath in environments requiring strict change control?
We have a development environment (usually VMWare Workstation), where most of the work on these forms is performed. When developer ...

Hi Clay,
I saw your post and am hoping you can help me out. I am trying to accomplish something I thought would be simple, but is not turning out that way;
I want a user to be able to fill out an InfoPath form (service request) and for the following things to happen when the submit button is pressed:
1. A request number to be ...

Hi, I am looking for a way to do this. The application will need to scale so I am not looking for solutions that require the use of the Infopath client on the server (I know how to do that today). Any suggestions?

Hi all, I can see how to do this using the Infopath 2007 UI, but how do I do this programmatically
