Hello,
Good news if you use InfoPath 2007, this namespace is allready declared in a new InfoPath 2007 template, so you can skip that.
If you use(d) InfoPath 2003 to create the template you probably made mistake adding the namespace declaration to the manifest.xsf file.
An example:

You can add a filter to the second dropdownlist. Only display the items where the text in department dropdownlist is equal to the department in your secondary datasource.

I have tried adding the above line of code into the manifest and once saved and trying to re-open I get an error message - it is not a valid document -
I am just pasting the above line before the > in the xsf:xDocumentClass

This is exactly what i want but the value returned is allways 0, i have no idea what i have done wrong, you dont happen to have a working example form with it in do you. I am desperate and dont know what to do.

I believe you can create a calendar shortcut via a hyperlink. Similar to the mailto: hyperlink.
I am pretty sure I have seen this but you would have to research Outlook Shrotcuts. If you can create one from a hyperlink and pass some values then it can be done via a hyperlink control and concatenation in Infopath.

Unfortunately InfoPath is only included in the enterprise version of Office. So it all depends on what you have licensed and deployed.
If they all have Infopath that makes it simple.
MOSS 2007 which requires IP 2007 to design the forms is the primary option.
You can try Qdabra's Form Viewer for basic forms in a web page and it works with IP ...
