well abutes, if you are submitting the form to a sharepoint library then the form name does matter. by form name i mean the name given in the submit connection by which the form will be submitted to. That has to be unique to prevent overwriting of forms.
-
what i meant is to create a simple field, say hidden textbox, and set its value when the form is being submitted. so in the next phase when you want to reject the form you have the email id from which this form was submitted.
-
hello and welcome to the forum Carey,
i would suggest a simple approach would be to create a field(say submittedBy). and populate its value with the email id of the person who submits the form, at submit time. then you can use this email id.
-
welcome to the forum Hank,
well you better try changing the id of the form, that way it wont be recognized as an advanced version of other forms. to change the id
-> open the form template.
-> go to file menu -> properties
-> change the ID

sorry ducati i forgot the concat function
thanks Alec for the help.
Actually i am on vacations these days, so a bit of cut off from InfoPath + i dont have InfoPath installed on this box to cross check.
-
sorry i forgot to mention that you need to insert myrepeatingtable using insertfield button in the formula
-
as per my understanding u have first name as firstname+2lettercountry code and you need to get firstname only. let firstnamep be the field having value = firstname+2 letter country code
substring(firstnamep,1,length(firstnamep) - 2)
-
sorry,
iii have put it wrong way, it should be
textbox1 = string-before(textbox1, new_email_id) + string-after(textbox1, new_email_id)
-
u might try using eval(eval(myrepeatingtable,'concat(my:emailfield,";")'), "..") to get the cc fields
-
hello and welcome to the forum,
it seems you are doing something wrong, check the following
-) whether you have submit configured
-) what is the name you are giving to the form being submitted.
-) what document library you are submitting to and where you have published the template. might be you are looking in the wrong library,
