I have created an msi package with a fully trusted form. I've done this using regform. And I'm using Infopath 2007, Visual studio 2005. It installs and works on Windows 2003. When I try to install it on Windows Vista, it does not install. It rollbacks after complaining that it can not find the template in c:\program files\infopath ...

Just found what I was looking for.
It seems that my control is still in the form even though it is not showing. I found it in the Tools -> Default Values menu. unchecking it did the trick. I also found out where to remove them from the main data source.
I'll surely be back around soon!

Hi,
I had a dataconnection and a field connected to it. I deleted the connection, then the field. Now, I get an error each time I try to open the form telling me that there was an error in the call XDocument.GetDOM.
I can't seem to find what's going on and I fear that my form is corrupted. I need your help!

Hi,
I've created an InfoPath form based on my own XSD. Some of the elements in the XSD are optional, and therefor not always included in the XML I'm displaying in the InfoPath form. Still I would like to display the corresponding controls in the InfoPath form. The idea is to add information not included in the XML manually. Is ...

I've tried this on multiple machines. It appears to be form specific. I can go in and modify it in the backend just concerned about what else may be "corrupted"

The problem we are facing is that we have established a connection from web service to SQL Server 2005 through dataset but when we submit the data from infopath, we get a message that dataset is not supported by Infopath Form Service. Is there any other way to submit the data via web service.
