You need to set the form itself to full trust - under Form Options, Security.

Just wanted to chime in here - the reason context tracking is only available in client is because the underlying event, the context changed event, is only available for filler (client).

That makes sense - like I said, I've seen this, but hadn't really tried to track down when it happened (and may have seen it and just thought I'd managed to forget to name a rule...). Thanks for posting the info on when you are seeing it happen - now others won't think they are forgetful when it is just dear old InfoPath ...

Oh sure - you can add multiple rules to your button - execute the command, submit to the library, close the form, etc. I usually execute my command first - if you are returning the ID from the list to your form XML you want that in there prior to submitting the XML to SharePoint.

Hah - I always figure things out the very instant I hit "send" on the email to one of my very smart colleagues begging for assistance..... Admitting defeat always seems to free up my mind to find solutions. :-)
Great job working it out!

Hi - so, I have gotten confused (again - that seems to be a theme for me!). Do you want to only copy some of the data from SharePoint to your main data source based on user selections? Because for your tablesrc parameter in your qRules CopyTable command, you could use a filtered XPath to just get the rows you want....you'd probably need to use ...

You need to set the postback on your button to always - under the button properties, Browser tab.

But splitting this - while inconvenient for you - doesn't affect the logic. Your initial rule (or at least the way IP interprets it) is:
(field1 = "A" and field2 = "B") or field3 = "AB"
When the rule is split, the logic is the same. Is the problem just that this is inconvenient? I agree it seems like ...

Hey, wonderful, glad you figured it out!

You cannot create a form with the list as a main data source unless it is a list form (which would then be bound to the list, and only available for IP / ShP 2010).
When I suggested default values - I meant to add as many rows to the repeating table as you thought your list would ever have (with a few extra for good measure) and then set defaults ...
