Hi all,
I want to know about character size of property promotion because I test to input long 'HTML Code' into property promotion.
But I notice, maximum number character of property promotion is 256 character.
If anyone has known, please confirm to me.

Hi,
On my button click event (using VSTA) I explicitly set values to one of my InfoPath fields (which I do not display on my form). But the InfoPath does not commit that data to the forms library. I implemented below code to modify a field on button click event & submit it to Forms Library

The image shows what I want to do. My problem is that 2nd table might be a repeating table or might be just a plain table. After several talks with users it seems that a plain table is more likely to be used. First table will appear only on first page. Great, thanks! I'll look into it. For the moment I've changed the schema to "encapsulate" the three choices within an optional element, so that the user has the option first on whether or not inserting any of the three items, and then she can decide which of the possible choices to pick.

3. Click 'Add' button and select the field which you want to place as property promotion and then select 'merge' in function drop down.

I have designed a form (InfoPath 2007) that uses sections that hide/show depending on selected values in drop-down lists. It also has a repeating table.
The form looks fine when rendered inside of Sharepoint in Internet Explorer, but when the user submits the form to his manager (via email), it is rendered incorrectly in Outlook ...

You can get the path using XDocument.URI using VBScript. I've used it to pass the information to a field in the form. From that you can parse out the file name.
Example:
strPath = XDocument.URI
dim oInfo
set oInfo = XDocument.DOM.selectSingleNode("//my:FormPath")
oInfo.text = strPath
