Yes the checkbox Update this value when the result of the formula is recalculated is selected. I have tried it with the checkbox de-selected as well. I am very perplexed (to put it mildly), all of the forum posts, on this and other forums, say that it should work.

Hi, You need to create a submit data connection to your library. And then add a second submit to your button so that it saves to Share point When it does to the data base.

Average function only works with a repeating field.
Typically you have to do it the old fashioned way. Add them all together and divide by the number of fields.

There is no wizard or conversion tool.
you would just need to create new InfoPath templates and create them as database type forms, so that they can query and submit, and link them to the tables.
