Yes, if you want an ID after submit, then you should be good to go. If you need to give the record an ID before submitting the form, then you will have some complex issues. (too complex for me, anyway) I've seen posts on using a SQL table to do that.

is there any way to Debug the process that sends the data from the Workflow to the Infopath Form?

Hey all,
I was wondering if there is any way to set the size the infopath form opens
in to say 7 ¾ by 7 ¾ so the window is not taking up the whole screen and
having to be resized manually by the end user.

the way i would accomplish this is dynamically get the questions from your database based on the value of the dropdown. you would add a web service call on a rule that gets triggered by the dropdown value change. The webservice would have an input parameter that gets the value of the current dropdown item. hope this helps.

Quadruple check your XPath -- that is where I usually go astray. Make sure your spelling and capitalization is dead on, XPath is really finicky like that.

when you copy the certificate to the Sharepoint machine, thats for the validation part to make sure the Certificate you signed passes the revocation check. You need to have the certificate on the client machine as well.
