• Re: List box is empty when emailed out

I don't understand. Can you give me step by step instructions? I have never used XML. I believe my problem lies in emailing a form with a listbox. No matter what the listbox's datasource, or it's contents, it seems to be unable to the contents of the listbox in an email. If you select a line in the listbox, then it is only ...

  • Re: Cascading dropdown list - problem

I am having the same problem. To rephrase it: Cascading list box correctly displays information (multiple lines of information). However, upon submiting my form to an email address, the list box control appears, but is empty. If I were to select a line in the listbox before I click Submit, it would show that particular line in the ...

  • Re: Concat string help

Hello, This is really great. Only it doesn't work if I try to update the same field. Actually, I'm looking into formatting a field so that all words (no matter how many), get their first letter capitalized. (Like In This Example). Any help is greatly appretciated. Thanks in advance, Mircea

So your line: Me.CurrentView.Export("C:\MyView.pdf", ExportFormat.Pdf) //VB-Code won't compile, because of the "//VB-Code" at the ...

  • Re: XML Data Connection in InfoPath 2007: Data types and reading xml

Hi, Patrick: You can specify the data types in the .xsd that InfoPath generates when you add the data connection to your .xml file. You'll need to save the form as source files or rename it with ".cab" for the extension and copy the files out. Open the .xsd in question and add data types as needed. Here is a link to a great tutorial ...

  • Re: Repeating table questions

Generally when you add a repeating table the default is one row. In IP 2007, under Tools/Form Options/Advanced you can select the Edit Default Values button to predetermine how many of each repeating group will be present when you open the form -- you can check there to see how many of each group is included by default.

  • Re: A few questions about sql connections and or sharepoint workflows

Hey, Eric: Installation instructions for DBXL can be found here. I'd suggest reading the server scenarios first to decide where best to install the trial version in your environment. The beta for v2.2 is here. You get so much more flexibility with DBXL. I have a couple of blog posts on mapping, Ernesto has posted a bunch of ...
