  • So you want to send an email.....

There are two very common email scenarios with InfoPath. One -- you want to use an email submit connection but modify some things before the email goes out (common reasons: you'd like to use form fields in the Information section which is not currently supported in the user interface, you need more flexibility to determine who the email should ...

  • Re: Counting number of occurrences of a repeating group

Hi: You can use preceding-sibling with the count function to create a row counter (or, in your case, a meeting number). Here is a sample form that uses that functionality. Since this count will be zero based, you need to add one to the formula for the counter to begin with 1 (because, for the first group, if you count the preceding-siblings, you ...

Okay, I know I'm always a few days late to the picnic, but I found this great poster while online looking for something else, and thought this would be a great place to share it. Now if I just had a humongous color printer, I'd finally be able to gussy up my office properly....

  • Re: Autopopulate from Access Database

You need to double check your xpath -- did you select the @ClientName field using the Insert Field or Group button?

  • Re: Inserting Optional Section

Hi, Michael: Is this happening when you insert these items using code while the form is being filled out? Or when you are in design mode? If in design mode, check to see the height of your optional section is not set to a fixed number -- set it to auto. Also, you can try making sure you've deleted any blank lines (except the one your cursor ...

  • Re: NaN problem

Hey there -- A lot depends upon how you are getting the error. Is it a default value in your field? Can you have the field populated via a rule instead? Then you'd be able to set a condition on the rule so it would only fire when you have values you can use (like "FieldA is not blank") for calculations. Another option is to use a ...
