  • Re: where is "after changed event"

First off, it turns out I was mistaken -- you can't use the SwitchView method while the changed event is running. See this blog post for more information and a possible work around. As far as learning to code for InfoPath, for the 2003 OM, Patrick Halstead's book Developing solutions with Microsoft InfoPath is a great starting point. I ...

  • Re: Customizing the Date Field

Hi: I just posted a sample for this here. Basically, it uses a conditional default for a 'helper' field called month (used for the sake of simplicity) and then rules to set the date. I tested it for January values as well. Full information and some instructions for use and testing are in the form. Check it out and see if it helps you.

  • Workaround for non-descriptive errors in IPFS

  • Re: how to correct address to upper case

You could try substring-after to get the word after the space: substring-after("main street", " ") will return "street", for example. So, using your formula above, if the value of the current node is "main street": concat(substring(translate(substring-after(., " "), ...

  • Re: display today() +7 days

Read this http://www.infopathdev.com/forums/t/465.aspx or try the link within that thread as well. It appears that with IP03 there is no way to do any date calculations without some programming.

  • Re: Secondary data source limitiations

I am not sure on the size limit, but did you check the "Store a copy of the data in the form template" option when creating the data connection with the XML file? If not I think it will give you an error because it cannot find the XML file that you referenced in the IP form. I could be wrong though.
