It would be sorted as text. XML dates are in this format: 2012-05-12 or 2012-05-16T12:34:56
Dates from SharePoint are sometimes: 2012-05-16 12:34:56
But they should sort as text without an issue, due to the format - does that make sense?

The /row should be relative and not include the leading slash. The /compare should be relative to the row:
/row=dfs:myFields/dfs:dataFields/d:SharePointListItem_RW /compare=d:Unit
for example...

/dsname is the name of your data connection. When you created the data connection to your list, what did you name it?
-
My guess would be that one form is a normal InfoPath form and the other is an InfoPath form that is bound to a SharePoint list. As Ernesto pointed out - these different types of forms have different controls available to them.

Do the users have access to the SQL database?

Wonderful! So glad you got your form working the way you need it to!
-
I'm going to take a wild guess here - that worked?
:)
Have fun with qRules & post back when you have more questions.

Hi - we may not have a sample that includes the use of this feature in the sample form
If the name of your list is New Zealand Public Holidays, that parameter would be:
/dsnamehol=New Zealand Public Holidays
You don't need to put it in square brackets or quotes or anything - qRules won't be able to find the data source if the name is not ...
-
Did you approve the data connection in the data connection library?
-
The form you are working on - with qRules in it? You can publish it to a form library. Then it will be the template for the form library and the form will open when the user clicks "Add a document" in that form library.
