Sorry..found it. The developer of the form had the date fields formatted to system date.

I must be doing something wrong. I have developed at view that contains all the fields i need. I use the export wizard to export to excel. All fields export with the exception of and fields formatted as "date". I changed then to text fields and the export worked.
