Okay, all sharing one data source.... anyway you can rig it to test so that the ones that aren't printing 'wrong' have the exact same piece of data as one that is printing 'wrong'? That will let you verify that there isn't some padding following, for example, 'John Smith'.

You could create a print view and use an expression box with a concat formula in it that puts together the beginning text, the field and the punctuation.
