Hello,
I've created an approval form which submits to a list on SharePoint but am having issues with the userName() function over-writing subsequent users.
Here's the flow for my form:
1. Requestor creates new form (on Requestor view) & the Requestor name has a default value using the userName() function
- I have ...

That was one of the hardest parts for me - learning the right order of operation for rules & learning XPath filtering. What really helped me was dragging all the fields for data sources onto the form (you can clean up the form before you publish) and adding buttons to query the data connections. Then I could experiment with setting different ...

I'm learning!!!
Thanks you for explaining.

So - yes, I added that, and I also modified the formula for setting the Manager field - you were setting it using the Get Manager query, when I think you already had that data from the user profile query. For setting query fields, we always set them BEFORE we execute the query, because they impact what data is returned. We are saying: ...

That was it. No more error. Thank you so much.
It looks like you added a rule to set field value “AccountName”

Thanks ...

Sorry for the delay.
I've replaced the "personal" Code Signing certificate with a real one, still no luck.
Here's my code. Am I using it correctly?
cliLib = cliNo.Substring(0, 2) + "000";
//get the REST connection
FileQueryConnection fq = (FileQueryConnection)this.DataConnections["REST ...

Hello again Hilary,
May I ask what you changed to make this modification work? I'm a little lost on trying to recreate it.
Thank you,

I tried what you suggested but I got something messed up and
not sure how it worked originally. The Manager field pulls in the managers acc#
but I can’t seem to get the manager PreferredName in the Manager Name field. It
fills with the person selected in the picker PreferredName. I’m not sure how to
get it to pull the managers ...

Edit: Hmm, I must be doing something wrong with your modification. It's still showing me the first row duplicated.
However, it will show the correct pricing if I only fill in one of the pages (either the Raw Material or the Routing pages).
Edit 2: Never mind! I set something as a textbox instead of a calculated value by mistake. I think ...
