  • Re: Sequential Form Numbering

Matt, I have an InfoPath 2003 form which submits to a Sharepoint form library.  I have a unique form number that uses a data connection to count the number of forms in the destination library and increments by one... concat(Year, "-", Timing, "-", count(@ID) + 1). What happens if someone deletes a document or documents ...

  • Re: Current Row in repeating table

I am so sorry if I have confused you. I have a field prospectid in repeating table which comes from the database along with other fields. I wanted to put the checkbox in repeating table so that uses can select the prospects from the repeating table to delete them. I was able to put the check box by putting boolean dummy field in select statement ...

  • Re: Current Row in repeating table

Well, the code you've highlighted in bold suggests that you would have a data node at:  /dfs:myFields/dfs:dataFields/tns:FProspectResponse/tns:FProspectResult/tns:FetchProspect/tns:FirstName/d:field which seems reasonably unlikely. Use XPathNavigator to select a single node, and XPathNodeIterator to select a list of nodes. ...

  • Re: Current Row in repeating table

Well, first off, I'd use my XPath in the second navigator to select only the nodes in the dataFields group that have a value of True (if that is what selecting the checkbox sets the field to) in the checkbox node. And I'd make it an XPathNodeIterator, so it has all of the nodes where the filter applies. XPathNodeIterator dataFields = ...

  • Re: Spellnumber in InfoPath

Thanks Hilary, I think I have resolved it now, I had to set the Security and Trust option to 'full trust'. However if I uploaded as a browser form to my sharepoint site the code doesn't seem to work please help I am using the C# versions. Thanks

  • Re: Add Sharepoint List Items with InfoPath

Hello Matt.  Sorry to resurrect such an old post, but I am having no luck.  I can do this at the root of the site with no problems, but even one layer in does not work.  I can get the list displayed in the form no problem, but the insert never works (except in the root list).  I have checked (about 40 times) the GUID for the ...

  • Re: InfoPath 2007 Export to XML?

Jeff, instead of "exporting" you can add a new data connection that Submits any data you choose to another system, i.e, a database, webservice, sharepoint document library, or email message HTH Dean
