  • Fun with Sequential Form IDs, SQL and Sprocs!

    I may be exagerating when I say 'fun'. Forgive me for that. There are a variety of ways that you can create a unique, human readable form Id. This blog post is for those of you who prefer not to have to write or buy a web service, and don't want to write more than a little code. I'm warning you -- you will have to write some ...

  • Re: get-Role() how to remove?

    Hi, and welcome: My guess is that this is conditional formatting. As such, it would be based on the control, not the field, so that is why the Logic Inspector doesn't show anything. The ViewContext: CTRL122 is the control id, that shouldn't have anything to do with this issue. If you look at the conditional formatting for the sections ...

  • get-Role() how to remove?

    Converting a IP2003 form to a IP2007 Form Services capable form.  No scripting... no managed code.  Just GUI configuration. I took care of all the conflicts except one.  I keep getting an "Unsuported Expression" error, related to  xdXDocument:get-Role().  I've gone through all the controls and verified ...

  • Null values from Content Selector

    Good Afternoon,  I've created an InfoPath form with multiple Content Selectors, but when I choose a name via a web browser, it inserts the selected name and a preceding ";" into the control. This results in a dialog when the names are checked stating that there is an invalid name in the list.    Has anyone else ...

  • InfoPath Tool Bars: Can a form be published with tool bars hidden?

    I know that you can remove them manually per form instance, but I would like to know if you can publish a form with these toolbars completely disabled.  Basically, I have a form that I "enabled protection" and all the options under "open and Save".  Is there a way for these toolbars (standard, formatting, tables, ink) ...
