Define a node in your canvas called FormUrl. Its value will be something like: concat("http://<servername>/sites/<sitename>/<FormLibraryName>/",FormName,".xml") I'm assuming the FormName is some field in the form, which ... You would basically need rules, and those rules will have one specific condition each. So on dropdown2, when the user makes a selection, a rule will fire. Then you have various conditions: rule1: if dropdown1=2 AND dropdown2=B, set a field's value such that field3=X and field4=Y rule2: if dropdown1=5 AND dropdown2=F, set a field's value ... ExecuteSqlQuery requires the form be admin deployed, but you don't need a code signing certificate for this. Hope this helps! The free qRules trial is available on Qdabra.com. In the XML, I see that first we have the repeating <Savings> node, and then we have the node <my:ProjLanguage>ENG</my:ProjLanguage> The error seems to suggest that the XSN (being used to open the form) expects the ProLanguage node to come before the Savings node. Are you sure that the XSN ... Posted to Qdabra Tools (Forum) by ErnestoM on 10-29-2012 Re: How to have the value of a control made dynamic based on selections of two DropDown Boxes? Hi, You can accomplish this using rules. The conditions in the rules will look like this: If Priority=High and Impact=High, then have a rule that sets Severity to Sev2. If Priority=Normal and Impact=High, then have a rule that sets Severity to Sev2. And so one, one rule for each possible combination. Good luck! On the (LOCAL) instance of SQL or on the (LOCAL)\SQLEXPRESS instance? When DBXL is installed, it automatically adds permissions for the NT AUTHORITY\NETWORK SERVICE for the database and grants it db_writer and db_reader permissions. So for example, if DBXL is installed on (LOCAL), then the connection string Data ... How are the forms published to SharePoint? If via DBXL, I would try just editing and resaving each document type via the DBXL Admin Tool. The SharePoint mapping should force a republish and (assuming the sandbox ... It seems there is a correlation between when this happens and when a person opens the file who did not save it last. In other words, if I work on a file, and save it, it works fine, but if someone else opens it, it does not. This, again, has yet ... Posted to InfoPath 2010 (Forum) by ErnestoM on 10-25-2012 Re: Infopath Form Design You can have the same form published to three form libraries, and you can have the form submit to all three form libraries. Then, you can modify the view on the SharePoint form library to show only the promoted column(s) you wish to use for each library. One thing to watch out for is whether Country-State-City is going to be a unique filename. ... If I've understood correctly, there is no error in the first but the error shows up for the second one. I'd like to compare those two. Thanks.
