This is perfect, thanks for setting me straight on the syntax. Actual values I ended up using were: width:110px; height:30px I dont want to change the style, just get the submit buttons to appear all the same size. Many thanks for your help and patence.

Ted was right 5px was to small! I increased the width to 100px and I can see the buttons all the same width now however, the buttons no longer work.
